Accreditation

Program is accredited as a practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation.

Emory Critical Care Centers NP/PA Post Graduate Residency Program at Emory Healthcare is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.

 

Emory Critical Care Center Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant Residency Program has applied for Postgraduate Accreditation-Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).

ECCC NP/PA Residency Program anticipates review of its application for Postgraduate Accreditation-Provisional status at the February 2021 ARC-PA meeting.

Deadlines

  • Applications will be accepted for the May 2022 cohort August 1 - October 1
  • The application deadline is October 1, 2021. Interviews will take place in October.

Acceptance and Program Start Dates

  • Notification of your acceptance will be received within 2 weeks of your interview
  • Program start dates are  May 2021, November 2021, May 2022 and November 2022.

Our vision is to provide an educational pathway for certified Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners which imparts a strong didactic background as well as an intense, practical clinical experience and establishes high levels of proficiency and critical thinking skills in the practice of multidisciplinary critical care medicine.
